Oil on primed canvas. The Moon Rising on the Canal was inspired from a photograph I captured one evening as I was coming home from town along the canal. As I took the slight bend in the road, I saw the moon beginning to rise casting a glistening light upon the water and tips of the grasses along the canal. Perfect serenity.
